The space under your bed is prime real estate for storage. With the right containers and an organizational system, you can free up closet space while keeping seasonal items accessible.

Start with the right containers. Low-profile rolling bins (6-8 inches tall) work under most platform and standard bed frames. Clear or semi-clear sides let you see contents without opening.

Organize by season using a rotation system. Keep current-season items in the most accessible position (near the edge), and off-season items pushed to the back.

Label every container on both the top and the end facing out. Protect stored items with cedar blocks or lavender sachets to repel moths and keep fabrics fresh.
